of the Center's Board of Directors is conversationally fluent in ASL.
Description: GLC of
Greater Long Beach serves Gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgendered, and
questioning people of all ages. Everyone is welcome. The service
available is peer (paraprofessional) counseling. These are
counselors that have been trained, but are not licensed professionals.
All counselors are supervised by a licensed Ph.D. The Center has
recently acquired a peer counselor, Ryan Burns, who is fluent in
conversational ASL.
