December 5, 2008.  You are welcome to attend an unsponsored DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING GATHERING AT MICKEY'S CLUB, 8857 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA from 7pm to 2am.  Must be 21 and over to enter.  Come before 9pm to avoid the cover charge.  Mickey's is a popular gay club in West Hollywood with Go-Go Boys.  Please order a drink when you go there to show your appreciation to the club and pay good tips to the waiters and bartenders.  Thank You!.  Open to all!  This has been a regular meeting time and place for several years.

December 5, 2008.  COFFEE NIGHT at Starbucks at the Long Beach Town Centre, just off the 605 Freeway near the Carson exit, Long Beach, CA.  This is a long-standing, un-sponsored event.  People usually start gathering around 7pm and stay until 10 or 11 pm.

December 6, 2008.  SeaWorld San Diego welcomes you to AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE SATURDAY at SeaWorld, 500 SeaWorld Drive, San Diego, CA  92109.  On the first Saturday of every month, we will provide interpreters at various exhibits, presentations, and show areas throughout the day. Interpretation will be provided at Believe, Shamu Rocks, Dolphin Discovery, Clyde & Seamore's Risky Rescue, and Pets Rule. Park hours vary. Admission is posted on the website. All ages are welcome. December 6, 2008, Deaf West Theatre officially launches its Fall series of "ASL Story Time" Workshops for deaf and hearing children and their parents, at its mainstage in North Hollywood. The one-hour interactive workshops are held every Saturday from 10am to 11am, from October 11-December 13 (except November 29). Admission is FREE. Cited as a parent friendly/kid enjoyable experience in many magazines including Los Angeles Magazine and listed as "a hidden treasure" in L.A. Parent Magazine's Best of LA, ASL STORY TIME offers children (ages 5-13) the opportunity to enjoy the written word though a visual language, ASL. Each workshop features professional deaf actors performing well known children's stories in ASL, with spoken English translation for hearing children and parents. December 6, 2008.  Coachella Valley Deaf/Hard of Hearing welcomes you to PIZZA GATHERING from 11 am to 2 pm at Pizza Hut, 1501 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA.  There are no fees to pay, and your only cost will be what you choose to spend for food and beverages. We gather at the Pizza Hut restaurant located on the west side of North Palm Canyon Drive just south of Vista Chino, in Palm Springs.
