July 4, 2008.  You are welcome to attend an unsponsored DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING GATHERING AT MICKEY'S CLUB, 8857 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA from 7pm to 2am.  Must be 21 and over to enter.  Come before 9pm to avoid the cover charge.  Mickey's is a popular gay club in West Hollywood with Go-Go Boys.  Please order a drink when you go there to show your appreciation to the club and pay good tips to the waiters and bartenders.  Thank You!.  Open to all!  This has been a regular meeting time and place for several years.

Santa Barbara City College, 721 Cliff Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.  Santa Barbara City College welcomes you to Summer Immersion Institute weekend, Friday, July 25th from 9 AM - 7 PM, Saturday, July 26th from 9 AM -8 PM, and Sunday, July 27th from 10 am - 4 PM. All courses offered are UC/CSU transferable: ASL 120-140 -Beginning-Avdanced American Sign Language Conversation (2 units). Please come and join us for a fun and exciting weekend!  The ASL Summer Immersion Institute courses REQUIRE: Completion of. 5 units of ONLINE work between June 30th -July 18th Attendance and participation in class, small and large group sessions, meals and Deaf social activities through the entire weekend. July 27, 2008.  Coachella Valley Deaf/Hard of Hearing welcomes you to BOWLING AND SOCIAL GATHERING at Fantasy Lanes, 84245 Indio Springs Drive., Indio, CA.  This is a great time for adults and families with children are welcome. If you want to bowl, we ask you to arrive by 11:45 am so you can get your bowling shoes, find the ball you want to use, and be ready to start bowling at 12 Noon. The bowling alley gives us the very special low rate of $2 per person for each game bowled, and shoe rental is at no cost. If you want to socialize but don't want to bowl, you will still be welcome. All D/deaf, hard of hearing, and ASL students who are ready for some real world sign practice are welcome.
