November 21, 2009.  Sign Language Factory/Bill Rennie welcomes you to "Deaf Idioms" - 9:00am-12:00pm; "Finger Spelling Warp" - 1:30-4:30pm.  "Deaf Idioms" - These are signs that are particular to the Deaf community but that you don't always learn in a classroom situation or from a book. In this workshop, Bill will teach you some of those signs and show you how they are used in everyday conversations. You will have a hands-on opportunity to practice the signs that you've learned. "Finger Spelling Warp" - Some deaf finger spell so fast you wonder if you'll ever understand what they're spelling! Bill understands your frustrations! In this workshop, he will teach you some techniques to help you improve your finger spelling receptive skills. Plenty of hands-on practice. Don't miss it! Each workshop will earn 0.3 CEUs. Preregistration Cost: $35 per workshop or $60 if you sign up for both. At the Door: $45 per workshop, $80 for both, cash only. If you request CEUs, a $5 processing fee per workshop will be charged.
