California Home for the Adult Deaf 

Licensed Residential Facility for Deaf Senior Citizens 

The California Home for the Adult Deaf (CHAD) is located in the beautiful city of Arcadia, in Southern California.  CHAD has been in existence for over 50 years!  Over the years, CHAD has been the home to Deaf senior citizens from all over the United States.  CHAD has been the place where they can come and live and be surrounded by other people that use Sign Language 

CHAD not only provides a great place to live, the Deaf seniors have access to events on and off site and they have access to the local Deaf community agencies.  CHAD also provides transportation to medical appointments, social security appointments, and more for all of its residents. 

CHAD is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is a licensed care facility.  CHAD is not funded by the government, so benefits greatly on donations from individuals and organizations such as yourself.  All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
