July 31, 2010.  The Milestone Theatre Company presents "The Laramie Project," by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project. On November 14, 1998 members of the Tectonic Theater Project traveled to Laramie, Wyoming to conduct interviews with the people of the town following Matthew Shepard’s murder. Over the course of one year, the members returned to Laramie several times and conducted over 200 interviews. This play is edited from those interviews, journal entries by members of the company, and other found text in order to piece together Matthew’s story and the story of a town ripped apart by the apparent hate crime.  There will be an ASL Interpreted Peformance of "The Laramie Project" on July 31. Tickets are $25. Proceeds will be donated to the AIDS Service Center in Pasadena and the Pasadena branch of Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). Tickets will be available at the door, or by visiting www.milestonetheatre.org or email milestonetheatre@gmail.com.
